Mamyalynne the ed didn’t ask us tamper with the links. She was responding to someone who said they weren’t working.

Far simpler to put a space in or leave a bit off the front.

To my mind, Ed was indicating that any links posted should be made unclickable first - so easy to do, just put a space after the 'https'.

Mamyalynne, if you read the comments on the thread you posted you will see that the offending links don’t work when clicked. If the Ed advises those affected by this ongoing problem
to tamper with the links I’ll follow her advice. As it is she appears to be dealing with them
effectively.
