I keep getting asked for my user name although I have ticked it and even although I have been on the previous day it says glad to see you are back . Why is this .

Do you know if you have recently cleared your web browser's cache or cookies? Sometimes this can sign you out of The AnswerBank.

As already said, I suspect you have your browser set to automatically clear the cache each time you log out.
