Input Typing Glitch

For several weeks I have had a problem typing into the reply panel, after about 2 ½ lines it seizes up and will then after a delay only accept a few letters at a time. If I try to copy and paste from my independent word processor the same thing happens until I close AB, after which my WP functions perfectly. I am running W10 and Firefox on an Aspire 7540.

Words appear on here that have never been typed by me - letters missing mainly like cold instead of could wold instead of would. I've given up correcting them
