Hi Ed,
I know you need adverts to keep all this wonderment going and I'm fine with that but lately we have started to see, or rather hear, ads appearing that play audio as soon as the page opens.
Now you can flishy-flash at me all you like, I know I can look younger than a 25 year old and I'm always glad to be the millionth winner, but do you not think that having a load of users suddenly frantically trying to find a way to turn the ad down is not good for business? I know I find it a very big turn off and I have stopped using sites altogether that host a lot of this type of ad.

Dear Mojo,

We do not allow noise-making ads on the site as a general rule. As I browse the site without headphones most of the time, this can slip by (in the rare case we see the same ads)

Can you remember what the ads were for? We can remove them if you can let us know what they are when you spot them.
Ed; I still get plastered with German ads which change before my eyes every few seconds. Whether or not they have sound accompaniment I don't know, as I do not have the sound on for AB, but I can check.
The Weetabix ad next to Best Answer had sound. I dislike ads with sound it but mrsfactor hates it even more when she's trying to read/watch TV/talk to me and these sounds blare out

The one that really bugs me ED is the one where you have to save the iphone that's being hit with a hammer...loudly.
Thanks for answering.
