head gasket

would a blown head gasket stop the car from cranking up???? how long would it take to repair? and why are they checking for leaks an want to take it for a road test before i drive it to cornwall...and...

cam belt on import

i just brought a japanese import from a dealer last week. it was working fine and i was falling in love with the car, then this morning i went to start it and there was nothing! it was working fine...
