Do other governments have access to UK criminal records?

Soon I will be applying for residency in Colombia. Will the government here be able to access UK criminal records, even though my convictions are from when I was incarcerated/living in Australia?

foreign convictions

I am English, but completed a 2 yr 8 month jail term in australia last year. Will i have a problem going to the US even on a connecting flight to another country?

Criminal records...

Last year I finished a 2 1/2 year jail term in Australia for drug offences, then I was deported back to Britian Does this record automatically transfer over to the UK?
