I Was On Yts At Llandrillo College Back In 85/86 On A Vehicle Repair Apprenticeship... How Do I Get Proof That I Completed An Apprenticeship That Long Ago

My new employer will not class me or pay me at a skilled rate unless I can prove I completed an apprenticeship..., I have all my city and Guilds certs and NVQ's but they only class me as semi skilled...
