my meriva 1.6 life easytronic has been standing for a few weeks went to start other day and wouldnt start rac came out and fitted new starter motor as old one had gone. still nothing eventually...

why would gears slip on semi automatic meriva 1.6 16v if im on a hill or on a straight run the car slows down momentarily and then i have to put my foot down to get speed back
