What a shambles.

It would be to the disadvantage of the child who recognizes his adopted parents as his true mother and father, to remove him into the care of "strangers." The child will have to be told sometime and the biological parents must get o with having another child.

As I said....a shambles.
Sadly it looks unlikely. I dn't understand how it is possible for the baby to have been adopted before the criminal proceedings were finalised though, something seems wrong there.
Unlikely.

Heads should roll over this it is an absolute disgrace with the SS acting like Nazi's. Looks like we are in a dictorial state where you are guilty until proven innocent.
Has the baby been away from the parents for 3 years? It's not very clear

Yes a complete b**ls up, but I think it now best for the child, that he or she, stays with his/her's adopted parents.
The adoption should not have gone ahead until conclusion of the case - heartbreaking.

Parents saw their child until a year or so ago I think hc.
I agree with Squad at 12:14. Yes, a serious mistake has been made but it would be cruel to the child to remove it from its adopted parents and give it to what it would think were complete strangers.

The rule which applies in this case and all other cases of child custody is to do
'Whatever is in the best interest of the child / children'
this principle OUTWEIGHS ALL OTHERS .
There is another principle here as well , that is that adoption is final and forever.
No matter what the merits of this particular case nothing can ever overrule the '' Best interest of the child'' principle.
I have a huge amount of sympathy for the birth parents but even that is secondary to doing what is in the child's best interest.
Try to imagine how the child would feel being forced away from the only parents it has known?
If adoptive parents knew that a child legally adopted could be removed from them it would negate the entire principle of adoption.
It is a mess but, hopefully, the child will come through unscathed and both sets of parents can ensure the child will have a happy life.

An avoidable mess that can't be undone without damage to the child.

What a terrible mess-up. The time elapse is critical of course, that child has grown up with 'Mummy and Daddy', it could be traumatic to change that now.

I gather that the new information was given at the same time as the final adoption order and the judge ignored it! Shocking!

One thing I did pick up on was that the expert witness said that the child displayed classic symptoms of early rickets. That does indicate that the parenting was lacking in some way - lack of vitamin D, I believe. Perhaps all is best left as it is at this stage.
