Sorry had this question on another site --

murray I asked you this question on another site - but why do you get up so early in the morning amongst others - is your day not too long. Do you go to bed at 7pm lol.

Suffered insomnia all night - was typing emails here at 4am - I could cry.

all this nonsense from Baldric over asking Murray why do you get up so early. I am nearly afraid of posting any more. Where's my flounce LOL
My sleep pattern too, is very erratic. At the moment it seems to revolve around 6am. That's either when I'm going to bed or getting up.
I'm trying montmorency cherries, a new 'therapy' for insomnia. Extensive trials have shown that once asleep, they keep you asleep for a while longer. I've not been taking it for long, but it does seem to work to an extent.
I bought the cherry capsules from Amazon for £6.99. It's supposed to be a months supply, but will last me 2 months. The trials showed that one per day worked well, but taking 2 a day had no extra effect. I'm not very good at putting things into words sometimes, so I hope I've made myself clearer than mud!
I'm also drinking a 7fl oz glass of Cherry Good juice per day, which is very nice, if a little expensive. Tesco recently had it on offer, 2 for £1.50, but the offer has stopped for now. I'm sure other shops will sell it too, but it has to contain the montmorency cherries. Tesco's own has 'sour cherries', but not the montmorency, which is the active ingredient. Sorry, clear as mud again.
I hope if anyone makes proper sense of what I've said, that it's of some help. I've had insomnia for so long, I can't remember how long. Anyone who's been on Mamya's night music thread will recall me being on it, playing music till 6am!
I'm just surprised murraymints replied to your thread she just so "posh"!!

///so there Baldric///

Doesn't sound like he's doing very well to me, to be honest!
Her butler did it, Gav...... ;-)
I think it was her private secretary!

Jenny,
You shall ask a question once!
If no reply you cannot ask again!
These are the rules!!!!!!
If we don't have rules we will have anarchy!!!
Oh by the way how's the dog?
Question Author
whose rules are they gavmacp - dog doing excellent - had my little toddlers yesterday and I was apprehensive since he is not used to wee ones but the 3 of them became mates - even kissed one another - dog is one year old, 2 toddlers 2 and 3. yucking at the kissing
These rules are very important Jenny!
Like your sleep problem!
You shall go to bed at 11.00 pm. NOT 10.59pm or 11.01pm this is very important!
As I have said it will lead to anarchy!!!
Have a good evening, conne, you now have an idea where some of us early birds are coming from.....remember the derided Thatch use to survive on about 4 hours a night, some of us not far behind - in my case, one night of 7 to 8 hours a week sees my negative balance countered.

Hope the pup is sleeping well!
Jenny, please read my post at 22.18. It may actually help you, rather than stressing over Baldric. Stress can keep you awake due to an over-active brain!
Jenny,
Don't know if it would work but there are some hypnotherapy sessions on YouTube that are designed to help you sleep throughout the night.
