Lilies...what Now

I have Oriental and Asiatic lilies in pots, they've finished flowering, stems have browned, dried and been cut down.
So what do I do with them now, repot, leave in pots till Spring, dig up and plant in borders, or just refresh the top layer of compost. Any advice welcome. Thanks.
