Do you mean the two day ban or discussion of a 'harsh offensive' or both AOG?
Question Author
Both
I totally agree AOG.
When 82 year old Mohammed Saleem was stabbed to death near his mosque last year by a white supremacist nutcase, it was an absolute scandal that all white residents were not banned from the area.
Maybe if dozens/hundreds of Mohammeds had been stabbed by immigrants, they'd try and keep them out, gromit. What do you think?
I did wonder if 'Ukrainian' supremacist nutcase was left out on purpose.
Yes, I agree with the OP as I don't think it is disproportionate in the circumstances.
AOG

Why does this seem to be the correct approach?

Has someone confirmed that it is?
Yes, invade someone's house, push them out and then ban them from coming in and if they do try then kill them using anything available including phosphorus bombs.

It is the correct approach.
This Palestinian boy who stabbed two Israelis goodlife, would he be one of the innocent Palestinians you refer to?
Nothing to do with the OP, AOG, but some of you following this thread may be interested this article which was referred to in your Independent link (it's by Robert Fesk whom I love and loathe in equal measures):

http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/what-s-russia-up-to-in-syria-i-would-wager-theyre-after-something-big-retaking-palmyra-a6669446.html
Some of the commentators here show a better grasp of fiction than fact.
Robert Fisk is fantastic and one of the best middle-easttern based journalist on the planet.
Keyplus, // Yes, invade someone's house, push them out and then ban them from coming in//

Read the article. People who live, work, and study in the old city aren’t banned.
SP, why did you post that?
Mmmm, it's a head scratcher, ain't it, Naomi.
The naomi24

Strange - I thought it was pretty obvious.

My bad.
Nope?
"SP, why did you post that?"

As SP says, it's obvious, isn't it, Naomi? He wants to point out that there is one state in the Middle East in which homosexuals are not punished for being gay, but people who attack them are.

Not many people know that. Thanks, SP.

So they wouuldn't be punished for attacking non gay people?
