Whilst picking my runner beans last evening I felt a sharp pain on my next to little finger - nothing to see but I have a finger like a pork sausage and it is red hot and itchy and throbbing - there is no mark like a bee or wasp sting what could it be?

What can I put on it?

Thanks in anticipation

Spider bite?
Horsefly?

Anti-histamine cream and tablet.
I think you have a bee sting, and it depends whet you have in the cupboard as to what you can apply to it.

I'd dap it with lavender oil and cool it down with an ice pack.

No idea what it could be. but the bottom line is:

\\\\I have a finger like a pork sausage and it is red hot and itchy and throbbing \\\

Take Ibuprofen 400mgms every 4 hours for the pain and smear your finger with 1% hydrocortisone ointment.

Monitor the situation for the next 24 hours.
