87
43
Is the fact that this is in gaming relevant?
Ah, just seen why wolf is correct
12&45 a cause I don't think the others have rhyming slang in bingo
87 and 56 do not appear on a lottery ticket.....
Simple enough. But I had to look for a minute looking for something more complex.

Two of these things are not like the others,
Two of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which two is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?
Prime numbers
87 = 3*29
45 and 87- the sums of the two digits (9 and 15) are not prime numbers whereas the sums of the digits of the others are 3, 7, 11 and 7 which are prime.

I guess the other answer is wanted here though as it's in Gaming
43 is the only prime I think, DaisyNonna. (87 is a multiple of 3)
I think so, FF! Good suggestion but a little abstruse for most folk.
Maybe there are lots of correct answers. That way we can all be correct.
87 and 43 are also the only two where the first digit is larger than the second.
We are all winners here
The lottery and yours wolf (only 2 numbers whose digits are not consecutive numbers but rather reversed) and FF are 3 solutions for starters. Doesn't look like Brinnington is that desperate for an answer though :-)
When I was teaching I would never set the question, "Which is the odd one out?" It was always, "Which is the odd one out, and why?" Provided the pupil could justify his answer he got full credit.
87 and 56. I like the others.
It looks like there may be more than one answer or method anyway. But one can simply look for a pattern in the numbers' digits.
