The police have nothing to do with damage only accidents , it is a matter for the insurance only. You would only hear from the police if you had committed an offence like careless driving.

he asked loads of questions like was i on drugs and drink and
where i worked and what i did for living and why the other
car was trying to over take me.. asked me sign few documents
that he had hand written, like a statement and took photes of my driving licence and asked if i had mot and told me the driver's licence isnt always correct he stayed for 2 hours and asked me draw diagrames and picture of the road - he looked very dodgy him self
because you have been so help i wanted to let you know, he also said as he was leaving that now it depends who has to pay for the wall me or the insurance so i said well i donthave 60k i 'll be lucky to have spare £100 he said well we'll see.

fiction factory - it all went fine to be honest - be strange but ok.
What sort of wall was it?

You could put up the brickwork of a fair-sized house for £60K...
Question Author
just a brick wall but he said there was some expensive things behind the wall stored and they got damaged strange place to keep them and he had garden lights which got damaged. but i told him i did,nt actually knock the wall down.
only a corner of my car hit it.
so yes i think they making up stuff to claim.
