Anyone recall this WW2 film? Was on Channel 5 earlier. I'd never seen it before, thought it was great. Featured a young Martin Shaw.

Based on Operation Anthropoid in 1942 and filmed in Czechoslovakia.

I recorded it and have just watched it. I realised about a quarter of the way through that I'd seen it before. However, it was such a good film, I watched it again!
Have seen this many times. I think Anton Diffring's portrayal of Heydrich was excellent.

Grandma_Yiddo - I have to agree, Diffring was very good. Heydrich was a tough, ruthless individual who following the assassination appeared to be making a recovery. Had he done so I shudder to think how far he would have gone in merciless fashion...

Indeed! We couldn't have that could we....

The revenge the Nazis took on those two Czech towns in revenge was truly shocking. I checked out Heydrich after the film. He was tough and Hitler knew it...
