Every year my husband and I receive the bowel cancer screening kit. He usually receives his shortly after the new year and mine turns up a few weeks later. This year, his screening kit was sent as normal, but mine didn't turn up. I searched online and found a website, which I contacted to ask if I could have a screening kit sent out, but received no reply and no kit arrived. Does anyone know who I should contact about this as I cannot find any other source online? Thanks.

As far as I'm aware the test is done every 2 years, and the kits are sent out within a couple of weeks of one's birthday.
The Bowel Cancer Screening Programme has a Freephone number 0800 707 6060. I would ring them.
yes, usually every two years; when was your last one? And how old are you? I don't think they keep sending them out once you're 75 (may even be 70).
It's done every 2 years for people between 60-74. The telephone no. On the website is 0800 707 6060.

Thanks for all the helpful answers. We live in Northern ireland and they have been sending ours out every year. Also, nowhere near the dates of our birthdays, so it may be a different system here to the systems in other parts of UK. I'll give those phone numbers a ring. Many thanks.
It is every 2 years in Northern Ireland.
Are you certain you are tested each year?
