Sitting under an apple tree, with a picnic, in John Clare's garden in Helpston watching three members of The Pantaloons Theatre Group perform Treasure Island was an evening of pure bliss.....

I thought that you had just seen my Princess Merlin. She has a lovely short summer coat just now - except for her rear end. She is wearing jodhpurs or pantaloons.

The garden.....difficult to say as it's divided into different areas......we sat in what was an orchard under the few remaining apple trees.....
