i've had an aldi cheapie tv for probably 10 years+(still working well) and need the volume between 50 and 75 on the 0- 100 scale. i've just connected apple tv which plays through a HDMI socket and find the volme only needs to be around 10 or 12,it's obviously comng through the same speaker so why is it so quiet in normal tv mode? any of you techies out there got an answer

your apple tv might have volume output control on it (maybe)affecting the volume on your aldi tv
Have you tried going in to the tv's sound menu and offsetting volume? If you have the option to do that, the more it is offset the less you need to turn the volume up on the remote
