Also no email account?
give this a go - not sure the sound track is needed but if you do have you access to another machine

What sort of mail do you use.
Audio output: Open the device manager and click on Audio Inputs and Outputs

Click on your speakers and a box should open. What does it say?
The easiest and quickest way to open the device manager is to right click on the Windows icon bottom left of screen and then click 'device manager'

Is there an easy way to uninstall windows 10 & go back to 8?
Question Author
ukbod I use bt mail
No need to be hasty and uninstall W10

In the pop up box click the 'drivers' tab and 'update driver'.
as hc4361 says, much simper to just update the drivers.
But before you do that, you might want to just restart the machine. This happened on one of the four machines I've upgraded so far, and it fixed itself without any intervention when the machine was restarted.
