New Skype Download

Was the message I received, I did download it as it said and it has come up with the wrong person. I seem to have lost all my passwords etc. How can I put things right ?

It also seems to be asking for credit when it was free before

try sign in to Skype, click on forgot password, go into your microsoft account (outlook) and reset password for your skype account

don't pay anything, just go back into your account. Don't buy skype credit, that happens sometimes, ignore it

I did all that and it has not solved the problem

Are you in your own skype account? I only ask as you said it came back with wrong person.

I often get a skype download new version or however they put it, I download and would be asked to buy skype credit, I usually ignore all that bit and just go on to my profile and carry on skyping, I don't know how to help you now with your problem tamaris. I'm a silver surfer and would have to wait for one of the boys to come in to help me out of a predicament like yours. I could only get as far as I had tried to help you with. I am sorry, hope someone with a more technical mind can assist you
