Only if she's willing to pay £450 for the Henry.
Has it Diamond Studs in the handle? £450 for a Hover?? what plant is she on DD?
Curries are not a loan company. If they do exchange it the credit would be lowered to £90.
I doubt it and they certainly won't give her money that no one has paid. They might be willing to cancel the lease/credit agreement and take back the Dyson. Have you checked out the T and C about cancelling the agreement?

its just a question atm....i did buy my daughter a £450 dyson , she did tell her mum she wanted to bring it back for a henry hoover and get the remainding change.

i got £6000 worth of goods on credit a few weeks ago so treated her .

woofgang , the credit will be paid !!
No retailer is obliged to offer a replacement/refund just because the customer has changed their mind.

They may do it as a goodwill gesture but they will not give her hard cash to make up the difference between the value of the two items.

As she is not the customer and it has been bought on a credit arrangement it will need you to be present to revoke and reinstate the credit arrangement for the new purchase.
Wind up maybe?
so effectively the credit (is it zero%) that a shop is offering on goods will be converted to an interest free cash loan which you will pay back?

//Will Curry's give her refund? swap or exchange items?//

Why don't you ask them?

woofgang. the credit will be paid !!!! its wasnt 0% interest either and i did pay £600 up front, so what are you trying to get at. i dont agree with my daughter wanting to bring it back , she is struggling at uni and it was just a thought she says, i was annoyed at her fist but then i thought if she really wants to change it then i,ll let her.

wish i had your brains dodger
Curry's may take the Dyson back only as a goodwill gesture but they won't refund any difference nor exchange it for a Henry.

Whoever gave the loan (almost certainly not Curry's) will cancel the loan contract but may charge a penalty, it depends on the contract.

If you bought more items with the same loan agreement it may be complicated.
I am just trying to understand what you are asking.
so you are paying back a loan which you took out with Curry's. The concept was that you are given credit to buy things at Curry's and you pay back the cost of the purchases over time with a percentage of interest added?
Your daughter wants to convert some of that "loan to buy goods" agreement into a "loan of money" arrangement? I very much doubt that Curry's would agree to that, essentially they would making you a cash loan which you then give to your daughter to go and spend somewhere other than Curry's. Why would they want to do that? What they might do is allow your daughter to exchange the expensive vaccuum cleaner for the cheaper one and put the balance back on your agreement to be spent on something else at Curry's. What do the agreement T and C's say about returns?

i also bought a £4000.00 75" sony ultra etc. though no chance of taking that back i love it ;-)
It is not a Dyson "hoover" as "Hoover" is a brand name.

It is a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
and that comment helps the OP how exactly?
So you've got a 75" Sony and a 50" Hitachi? I thought you were looking for somewhere to live?
VHG, from Oxford English Dictionary
hoover v. trans. to clean with a Hoover (or, by extension, any vacuum cleaner).
