I've installed it on two computers without problems. Not lost anything and no fiddling to do, with the exception of Contana. Go for it

Ok thanks hc.

I have just gone from 8.1 to 10. I don't see much of a difference but it has only been a couple of hours.

The computer did almost all of the work itself whilst I went to play with my Kindle.

At least all my favourite programmes are still working.
You revert back to your old system within a month if you prefer it. You wont. If you were using w8 or w8.1 the only real difference is the much improved performance o both the mouse and keyboard on a laptop or desktop. Touch screen users will that the tiles are now arranged vertically instead of horizontally. The big step seems to be the new edge browser and Cortana voice recognition function. I have not yet ventured there but note that hc has. Today is that day for a peep. Oh w8 users have a start menu back

Anyone using w10 with a keyboard may find the shortcuts listed on this link useful. My problem will be remembering them.
