Tesco used to sell frozen Sugar-snap peas which were lovely, they appear to have stopped doing so and my request to staff there is met with a blank look.
Does anyone know why they are not available,or where I can buy them.
I don't order online but we have all the supermarket except Waitrose and Aldi nearby. Thanks.

I've never seen them frozen (but I rarely buy frozen food) why not buy them fresh. They take minutes to cook and are great to snack on raw, and in salads.
I think they are seasonal and will only be frozen for sale when the main harvest comes in. I agree they are lovely and if you live alone are better value than buying a packet of fresh that is too big.
On their website it states they are "currently unavailable..."
...so keep looking.
Either the farmers don't grow enough to make it worthwhile for frozen food plants to handle them or there's simply insufficient demand for frozen ones anyway.

Of course you can still buy them fresh. (£1.40 for 200g in Sainsbury's, £1.40 for 215g in Tesco or 89p for 150g in Morrison's).
I've never seen frozen sugar snaps.
Meg - I adore sugarsnap peas and have even grown my own in past years but fresh ones are so cheap now from supermarkets. I heat up some rapeseed oil in a pan (or butter) and just toss them for a few minutes - delicious! but we usually eat them raw - yummy!
They were 59p in Aldi recently!
