If she bubbles & squeaks when you are finished, then consider her spoilt and you having given a successful treat.

I'm well thanks TWR, Friday arvo is always good ;-).
Finished for the day, pretty sure there could be some "tinnies" calling my name.
Give her lots of champagne and oysters (if she likes them). Take her to a good show. "Beautiful", "Sunny Days" and "Bugsy Malone" are all excellent. A fairly decent hotel is needed, but don't go mad with the cost; many London hotels are really not worth the vast amounts they charge. My memory of London geography is not great, but I think I remember staying in a Novotel near Covent Garden that was ok. If she likes books, the book shops around Leiceser Square are interesting. Have fun.

Do them Oysters come with Jam Clov? x
Have a look at the Mail Travel website they do lots of trips to London which, even if you do not book with them, should give you lots of ideas. Whenever we do city breaks we invest in a ticket on the hop on,hop off buses they are usually really good value and at least you get a general overview of everything. It may not be for you, but I loved Buckingham Palace and the Royal Mews and they are open until September.
i find superbreak good for that sort of thing especially if you want to take in a show - finally got around to seeing the Mousetrap recently - I thought after 63 years it was about time - the *************** did it
Are you set on London? It may just be because we live further North, but Mr Tai and I prefer Edinburgh. It's a lovely city, and not the huge sprawl that London is - and there are some lovely green spaces there.
Australian foreplay . '' Brace yourself Sheila''

Tai, we were in Edinburgh a couple of months ago, yes a very fine City.
