jd williams amongst others are being so wasteful - I receive one catalogue by post once a week and 3 online. what a bloody waste. I just lift the catalogue and throw it in the bin. (Recycle bin by the way).

Not the only company - we get lots from Simply Be, Hotter, Saga Holidays, Shearings, and other companies we dealt with once. Very wasteful

If I get catalogues I don't want, i phone the orderline, which is almost always free, and ask to be removed from their mailing list. I also make sure that I tick the "no mailings" and "do not share my info" when i order things. Its worked very well and I get almost no catalogues now and no unwanted ones.

I always write on the outside : "Unsolicited mail, return to sender" then pop it back in the post box.
