hi there on behalf of a friend...
basically my friend stupidly put a racist comment about the receptionist in her childs school on facebook and it has got back to the school.
The receptionist took this quite badly its said divvy ***.
anyway she was called in by the head who had informed the police as apparently they have too.
my friend apologized to the receptionist and explained although it doesnt justified her actions why she wrote it and that was it.
what will the outcome be from the police does anyone no? she has never been racist it was just an angry comment
thanks

and I daresay she has learnt from this episode

now just wait and see

yes she is a Pakistani, i hope so poor cows scared now
There's certainly nothing to be scared about. I'd say the absolute maximum penalty would be a small fine for some mis-use of communications offence but i doubt it would go that far.
Question Author
yes she is, as wrong as what she said she feels terrible now

thank you for your reply orderlimit, would this be the case even if she has a caution for a domestic with her ex? thats what is worrying her the most she slapped her ex around the face and got a caution for it x
She said sorry so that should be the end of it, it's not nice to call someone a "divvy" but sticks and stones and all that
Question Author
it was a bit more than divvy lol

Knowing now that she already has a criminal record for violence ( a caution is a criminal record) I would say that it may go to court. A caution is supposed to be a 'one off' warning but there are cases of multiple cautions being given, so she may get another caution. If it does go to court we could be looking at a community service order or possibly a suspended sentence.
I don't know what the outcome will be but people need to get over themselves. Everyone is offended by something - but most don't make a fuss about it.
Too true,naomi.

Very true naomi,

You wont be able to breath soon, the way this country is going, cant say this, cant that, cant do this, cant do that.

If I can be called a Brit, and an Australian an Aussie, a Kiwi, a Paddy and yank, then I will call them a P***.

I think she wont hear anything, but this is not the land of the free anymore, so she might.
Going off the topic slightly, people on TV imitate Irish and Italian accents but if they did a Pakistani or Jamacian accent it's deemed racist, why?
Theres an Asian comedian, cant think of his name at the mo, but when he comes on stage, he always starts with, Hi White People.

If it was the other way round, golly gosh, 10 years..
Isharp, no the previous caution shouldn't really have any bearing on this incident other than the friend has a previous caution for an unrelated offence which again is nowt to worry about.

This is an incident of name calling in anger aggravated by the use of an inappropriate racial slur on social media which was reported to the police by a third party.
