My Czechoslovakian part time carer/cleaner who has been with me for 2 years is going back home for good next month.

She is well educated, and has been excellent in everything she has had to do, and I want to buy her something to show my appreciation, about £30.

She will be living back with her mother, but hopes to buy her own place locally, so any ideas, she is 32 years old?

She will be driving home via ferry, so size not a problem.

Thanks.

Newmarket Elina.

She came over to UK first to work as a horse rider with the race horses, so maybe something about them?
I'd like a nice objet d'art, nothing to do with anything, just a nice piece of stuff so that whenever I looked at it, it would remind me of you.
Hrt, that would be personally very interesting for her!
Oops lol .. Trt!
She sounds a clever cookie Trt! Don't you admire those that work hard x
There are some very nice photo frames in the shops these days. Why don't you get someone to take your photograph, with this Czeck lady in it as well, and it will remind her of the (hopefully) happy times she had working for you ?

Thanks everybody, some good ideas.
A piece of silver jewellery ... bracelet, necklace, locket, St Christopher medallion .. all personal, keepable and small enough to transport easily.
Why not give her £30 in the local currency. You can send her pictures whenever you want if you have her mobile.
