Just washed my rubber soled slippers in washing machine, do you think ok to dry in microwave?

NO ! You will be smelling burning rubber until this time next week !

Put them in the airing cupboard. Stuff them with rolled up newspaper first, as it will help to absorb the moisture better.

When I hand wash my slippers, i always leave them to air dry.
Hand wash just to freshen them up really.

no, in my opinion you would never get the rubber smell from microwave, fill them up with newspaper and put near but not on a radiator.
