Poor little lad, I'll never moan in IKEA again, but why on earth is it necessary to fund-raise to get him what he needs?

Firstly, I fail to see why Ikea has been headlined in this article, and secondly, I am sure that this poor child will not be abandoned by the NHS +,discharged with only stumps for legs.
I guess because it's the only way he'll get what he needs to make his life the best it can be.....shouldn't be....but it is.....x
I imagine those who set up the fundraising page want the very best prosthetics and or wheelchair etc for him.
The NHS will fit him with artificial legs + support him with the necessary help needed to use them.
But not as good as the ones he could potentially get from the private sector, Baths....sad but true...x
The NHS wasn't good enough for a little finger in Thatcher's Day [link for Naomi http://articles.latimes.com/1986-08-06/news/mn-1621_1_hand-surgery ] so with the deterioration since then it's hardly going to be perfect for 2 legs.
Come Zebo...where is your sense of charity !

I would gladly contribute to a fund for this boy.
