oldbobasusual....there is no one on AB that deserves that description, and a bit wicked to suggest that there is.
To answer the question - no!

Naomi used the word 'complacency' and that is correct. Complacency poses a bigger threat than IS. Deal with the former and the collective effort should ensure that the IS do not make even more strides.

//Mikey has no sympathy with ISIS and his answer says nothing to indicate that he does. //

the OP was "With the relentless progress of ISIS across many countries, and getting ever closer to Europe", and mikey's response to it was an anti xenophobic, anti racist diatribe, suggesting that we should be considering ISIS as just another group of immigrants to assimilate, rather than a murderous bunch of invading thugs. no, mikey doesn't support ISIS, but he berates the rest of us for being concerned.

I agree with you Divebuddy.
Complacency could be our downfall here and our biggest threat will come from home-bred and brain washed terrorists following the instructions of the likes of Isis. Could be many years in the future but unless the world unites against this evil threat I fear for the future of this country, and others.

I accept that the vast majority of the ever increasing numbers of Muslims in this country are peace-loving and law abiding, but to me there seems to be a reluctanceon their part to speak out in large enough numbers against extremism and to cooperate with the authorities in reporting extremist preachers and brain washed family members with radical views. All this, in my view, implies tacit support for dangerous extremists .

Also, the very term ' the community' implies separatism - even isolation, which cannot be a good thing for integration and understanding.

No it wasn't. He just said 'This xenophobia isn't as easy as it looks you know !'
He did not say any such as ISIS are just another group. Or suggest they were not murderous thugs. You have put words into his mouth just to be rude and insulting.

Why did you omit this Gromit?
