Nationwide..any Branch?

Can one use any branch of their bank,this case,Nationwide.
Will be needing them to issue me with a cheque,do not have a cheque bank with them.

Can I go into any branch to do this,or must one go to their local branch?

If you have an account with Nationwide, you can go to any branch to ask them to issue you a cheque on that account, as far as I know. Well, I have done that in the past, I can't see why it would have changed. You might need ID.
I live between two towns and use both branches as regularly as each other. I have also used various branches whilst on holiday in the UK and never encountered a transaction that cannot be carried out anywhere.
Do you mean you want to buy a 'bankers draft'? I guess there'd be a small fee on top of the amount you want on the cheque.

Been with them for years, never had a problem anywhere in UK.
