Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

(9) I have - - T - I - S - C (I think the last 3 letters must be 'SIC' for 'thus'. 24d Domestic Cockney lifted skin of the ham (5) I have E - O - E. This is not a crossword that I am used to! With answers, would it be possible to give explanations? Also 12a Enter data in yellow next to gaffer's initial (2,2,3) I have GO IN FOR, but hasn't this answer got a superfluous 'O'?

Thank you all so much. Bibblebub, you showed lots of patience, giving me all the constructions. 'INFO' instead of 'INF' cleared up the extra 'O' for me. writesbad, I finally got the answer OBI MAN. dannyk13 even explained it, and also some others - to leave out the 'h' in 'the' is a bit demanding just because they use the word 'Cockney' in the clue, when the 'h' is only dropped in the spelling & not in the sound.
