Was really annoyed today with the service I received in Dunelm Mill. All I wanted was one of these little silicone gadgets for poaching eggs in. Couldn't find them in kitchenware so asked at the only checkout open. Two very bored young women seemed a bit put out that I had disturbed their conversation and dismissively said "try kitchenware". When I said I already had, one had the bright idea that they had probably been discontinued so I was out of luck. Got one in the Range 10 minutes later. Aaaarrrrgggg

The ten minute wait for my badly poached egg would have peeved me too.
Feedback to the store manager.
I honestly don't think it is worth stressing over.

There are many more far important things in life to go arghhh over.
^^^^ not if you're the Sales Manager at Dunelm Mill. He/she will want to know about it. I can't stand that sort of attitude from retail staff and would happily report them.
I'd have sent you mine if I'd known Maggie, as like Eccles, I found the loooooooooong wait for a poached egg so not worth buying the ruddy things in the first place, they're gathering dust in my cupboard as we speak.

Haven't used mine yet - but if it takes 10 minutes it will probably end up gathering dust too lol. Hear what you're saying eccles, but felt I was being dismissed so they could get back to their conversation. Will just put it to the back of my mind.
Be it 50p or £5,000, customer service should be the same.

No feedback and it will never improve.
It`s not really the checkout operators job to know about store stock though. There should have been someone on the floor to help customers and there wasn`t. That`s an issue for management.
I do love a happy ending.
Would that be the pointy end or the rounded end Talbot?
Hope you get on with them better than me! I used them once, they took ages and looked a mess when they were finally cooked, so I threw them in the drawer and that's where they've been ever since!
The gadgets or the eggs Tizzi?
let the manager know you wont be back, firstly send a recorded letter to the GM of Dunhelm Mills , then a CC to the local manager.
