I came across the above statement on a sellers listings. Does anyone know if this is true? Seems a bit extreme if it means a seller gets just one opportunity to sell something.

I can find nothing to say that eBay has changed its automatic relisting. Send her a message about it, see what she says.

Not true.
Unless, of course, the item has been removed because it prohibited under eBay rules.

She's a seller with a mixed bag of items...makeup,jewellery,household...so nothing prohibited.
This is what she says. //Due to eBay no longer (automatically) relisting things, please consider this when watching as it will not be relisted// "automatically" used on one listing.
Maybe she thinks this will make more people bid.

I found nothing also, but not being a seller...I'd have to take some things as "true". Yes...I may message her.
Hi -this is very confusing and Ebay are not helping. From what I can gather this is how it works: If you are a business seller you get a choice when you are selling of keeping the item on 'Good till cancelled'. This means the item will remain for sale until it is sold or cancelled. EBay are now saying that there will be a time frame for 'good til cancelled' and once that time frame ( 12 months I think)is exceeded you cannot 'relist' the item.
You have two ways you can put an item up for sale and this applies to private and business sellers. You can click the 'relist' button and it will go back for sale and all those following will get a message to say you have relisted it.
Other method is it you can click the 'sell something similar' button -this will bring up your original listing which you can then list but you will loose all your followers (if you had any).

I think your seller is telly tiny porkies to get people to bid, unless she is winding down her Ebay sales and once the listing is ended she may decide to take stuff to a car boot sale. I have sold a few things 'will not be relisted' if they have been on a while and if they don't sell they go in the 'car boot' box.
I have relisted 5 items today no problem.
