Well will soon find out tonight if I have a lottery win . One ran across right in front of my car the only thing I can think of is that he or she was the lucky one .

Oh dear me. If you are superstitious then, in the UK and the USA, it is deemed to be unlucky for a black cat to cross your path.

I think you'll need to trace the cat and stroke it's back four times for the bad luck to be dispelled.

Wished I had never read about it now lol . I was always lead to believe it was lucky . Well never mind at least the one that ran in front of my car was lucky .

I understand black cats are considered unlucky in the US but it is definitely considered lucky in the UK. (Well unless you are a mouse.)

Of course realistically it doesn't change either, well unless you believe. Think lucky, check later and you will find umpteen examples of how you were lucky.

You are concentrating on a lottery win as the one thing to define lucky or unlucky. Consider, have you had a decent day so far today ? Weight down ? Rain stayed away ? Pc still working ? What a lucky cat that was !

A lot of gamblers have their superstitions, wendilla. Mine is that i only have a punt when there is a 'y' in the day. My main source of winners stems from studying statistics and it would be very interesting to discover just how many jackpot winners have had encounters with black cats:-)

Of course, we are all aware that the only way to scoop the jackpot is to totally forget your regular numbers, you know, the ones you have used for the last 21 years, and just use any old numbers or a lucky dip (or, as i call it, a dip). And you cannot be sure you have won unless you first believe you only have 3 numbers; then on second glance you discover you have four. It is only when you have shown your ticket to your partner/parent/friend/neighbour/goldfish for them to check that you realise that you have the jackpot. If i don't win, i hope someone else does:-) Best of luck.

Hi Ken I am not superstitious it,was just the fact that the black cat had a lucky escape .

OG yes it's a nice day no problems with PC and yes lost little . All rabbit food bought for rest of week .
