Sorry heading should say Cheque Books
I bank at Lloyds and have never had any problem using a chequebook to the end even though I only write about two cheques a year.
As long as your account details are the same, I don't see why not.
They don't go out of date. I write about 2 cheques a year but sometimes even less!

Many Thanks guys, that's what I thought. xx
Yes, as they dont expire as long as the sort code code and account number are correct - these can change, for example if your Bank has amalgamated with another bank. Check the details against the details on your bank card or statement. The Bank may query the first couple of cheques due to the age, but there won't be a problem, all you have to do is to explain the situation or if you are worried, either next time in the Bank, order a new book or phone them up.....your local branch....and order one then.....they will ask for sort code and account number.

Thanks Yogi.
I think these days, banks are more used to long gaps between cheque use.
Unless you have previous stopped them because you lost the book, they should be fine.
No worries, fusion :-)
