Using Email Express, is there anyway that one can send an email without having one's email address showing?

Interesting question.

Got some poison pen e-mails you wish to send ?
You could always open up a temporary one for temporary use. In that case the address is meaningless.
Try this:
Click on "tools" then click on "accounts" then you will see your email account.. Double click on your email account, then a "properties" box should open.. In the "general tab" at the top of the properties box put whatever name you want in the "name" field and change the email address in the "email address" field.. NOTE: When changing your email address just change your name, not the domain ie: [email protected] will become somebody @nobody.com ..

When you do this the only way your mail can be traced is through your mail server's IP address.. Your email server handles millions of emails every day so It will make you 99.9% anonymous ..

No nothing as sinister as that in fact nothing sinister at all.

I just want to help a friend out by constructing an email on his behalf and then forwarding it to his computer so that he can send it on to his recipient under his email address and not mine.
Then all he has to do is copy what you have written (the text body) and paste it into an e-mail of his own. No need for all that fiddling. He can also forward your e-mail on and delete the bit with your e-mail in it first.

Zacs, using your method surely the originating email address would show in the email header?

That is the way I have been doing it but it does not let one delete one's email address.

Also there is a problem if the email has an attachment, as one cannot copy and paste those.
Could you not put for the main recipient your other email address, if you have one if don't have one then anyone's, and then put the actual person you want to send it to in the Bcc box?
