Tesco have discontinued Aunt Bessie's as 'they are not popular'. I find that very hard to believe so would like your views.

Prudie, I think the wholesaler or Aunt Bessie's has refused to meet Tesco demands for a cheaper price for their products.
It seems quite a few previously stocked brand names are no longer on the shelves at Tesco.
For Funks Sake... You buy pancakes, Prudie?

(I have a recipe if you're not sure how to make them)
I was going to add in case some chef type picked me up on it - an Aunt Bessie pancake in the microwave for 2 minutes is the nearest to the real thing you'll ever get - without flour all over the worktops, smoke in the kitchen, loads of washing up etc etc
I reckon you're right hc, our local Tesco is lacking in some of the items I usually buy regularly.

Swap over to Sainsbury methinks.
Thanks Talbot, I'll maintain my stance of never cooking them :-)
I always make my own oven chips and wedges, much nicer than any you can buy. Sweet potato ones are delicious.
I make my own potato wedges but for some reason never bother with chips.

They're something to look forward to when I go out :-)
Really dislike oven chips. All of them. I find they have a weird after taste.

Home made every time for me...
