Being creative with the contents of the fridge/freezer/cupboard and going to do a stir fry served with noodles. It's two days until payday, and I refuse to buy any more ingredients until then.

good afternoon kate

i have just enjoyed some left-over chinese takeaway
Rib eye, jacket spud, coleslaw. peas, and onion rings (I try and have onion rings with most things)
Pasta with chicken
Chicken, bacon and blue cheese salad.

Annoyingly without any sliced nectarine as the nectarines will not be ripe until a week on Tuesday :-(

I'm in the kitchen tonight,
it's going to be Pork Chops, Oven Chips and whatever Veg is in the cupboard that I like the look of!
Nectarines are a pain in the butt aren't they. One day are hard as a brick and before you know it they've gone off.
Chicken livers and onions, pan fried baby plum tomatoes, spinach.
Lamb curry followed by strawberries. You are right margo nectarines and peaches go off while you are not looking!
Steak and sausage pie with chips and beans.

been out for lunch, an excellent scallops and pancetta salad for me....probably will make a lamb salad for dinner, left over lamb, greens - (lettuce and french beans), chives, cherry toms, cucumber, home made dressing. Cherries or raspberries as a dessert.
I don't know why I bother buying peaches or nectarines in the UK, they are one of the best examples of a fruit that doesn't travel well.

I suspect it is the sound of them laughing at 03.02hrs as they turn ripe that wakes me up at night, before a couple of minutes later taking there last breath as they go over :-(
Chicken burger with wedgies and salad.
Baked stuffed peppers - top quality lamb mince (I can hear it baaaaing), field mushrooms and some store cupboard bits - plenty of tabasco and a dash of red wine.

Some garlic and cheese flatbread to go with - and the tree huggers can have some steamed sweetheart cabbage with toasted cashew nuts, if they must.
Simple tonight.Tuna/Anchovy in Penne.
We're off out for a Chinese buffet (I've rung up for the prices but their policy seems a bit odd - adults £11.50, kids over 1.3m £3.95 and kids under 1.3m are free but only one kid per adult - I have no idea how much it's going to cost!).
Sherrardk - cut the legs off the kids until they are 1.2m ;-)
Even then Sherrard and Himself will have to shove three of the kids up their jumpers to get them a free meal!
Sweet and sour chicken and prawn stir fry ,stir fry veg all ready chopped by Morrisons.Prawns out of the freezer .Sauce by Blue Dragon .Fresh egg noodles from Morrisons .
I just need to chop a few mushrooms and spring onions and open a tin of pineapple :)
I've made a minced beef and onion plate pie with home made chips, gravy and peas.

Some great meals on the menu for tonight folks :o)
