sorry spelling.
I heard on LBC radio last Wednesday that for every game payed in the World Cup ( some 60 odd games) there will be some 60 odd people killed for each one who were employed in constructing the Stadia. Mostly Nepalese. There are convoys of coffins leaving Quatar each day. The authorities have arrested film crews filming them.
FIFA, MacDonalds and Cocoa Cola seem to have a load of blood on their hands
Fifa have been suspected of such things before the early nineties, it was only a matter of time before they were caught out (Allegedly) of wrong doings. The countries that these men represent don't exactly have a reputable reputation not only in Fifa.
I'm a big fan of football, but I would support a boycott of this particular World Cup.

Let's have some good old fashioned 'Home Internationals' instead.
Rest of the World teams v Each other, lets hold it here!
But you can bet your last pound Sepp Blatter will not get touched by any of this...he'll claim total ingnorance of the actions of all those that work under him !
The sad thing is that that's probably true...
This has to be the end for him, surely his support base will not be able to ignore this happened on his watch.
That only the first round wait to they get to the knock out stages .could go to penalties
Looking for someone in FIFA, who isn't corrupt must be a thankless task.

In multi billion dollar projects?.......No!.......well, very few. particularly in the Middle East and the Far East.

Could tell you a few "stories" but my lunch is ready.
I'm afraid everyone has their price if they can get away with it.
I don't know anyone who didn't say 'brown envelopes' about Qatar at the time.
The US arrests relate to the South Africa World Cup and the last FIFA presidency election.
The Swiss police are investigating Russia and Qatar. Hope they get a move on.
Let's hope that old fossil Sepp Blatter gets the boot. He cannot be squeeky clean. Guilty until proven innocent and pigs might fly!.
Sepp Bladder is the godfather of this organisation, he is the don, he is the most corrupt and he would have known exactly what was going on and who was involved, it couldnt have happened without his knowledge.
Never, not in a million years
We've all known that fifa's corrupt for ages. What needs to happen is that people stop attending their world cups. Until that happens things will continue, but it's good that some of them have been arrested.
