The Strange Programme On The Bbc On Suinday Eveninga

I watched the first two episodes of Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell and am left wondering just what age group this weird programme is aimed at. I am baffled!

Its after the 9:00pm watershed so must be adult only, but I gave up after seeing the "horse-sand!

I decided to give the second episode a chance after the first left me underwhelmed. I fell asleep after 35 minutes....always a bad sign!. Nature's way of saying "time to give up on this"...which is what I will be doing.

Literate individuals for a start? People who want something unusual in their costume drama on Sunday night?

More to the point what is this obsession with aiming programmes at people? If you don't like a programme it is not because it is not aimed at you. Why should you be consulted? Why should I?

I'm still not sure about it even after two episodes. I got confused between two characters then spent a lot of the programme trying to straighten them out in my mind. It's different certainly!

Well, I'm enjoying it, so I will continue to watch...

Watched the first episode which left me wondering what it was all about. Decided not to watch any more but understand there are many on AB who are enjoying it.
