If I buy a new phone can I simply use my SIM-only card (monthly payments) without any 'messing about' ?

Cheers.

If the phone isn't locked to any network (or is locked to the one which your SIM uses) you should just be able to insert the card and be up and running. That, of course, assumes that the phone uses a full-size SIM. Some now use micro-SIMs, so check before purchase.

Depends what you mean by 'messing about'. I had to have a new phone, had a PAYG sim that did not fit. Just popped into the local vodofone shop and they gave me a new one, no cost, working within 15 minutes.

Thanks, Chris. The sim is full size and the phone isn't locked in to a specific network.

Ubasses, by ' messing about' I meant having to re-enter all my contacts, etc.

Thanks.

Derek, where is that sim card from? Have not seen a full size card for yonks!

Mastercraft. See Buencho's answer above.

My sim card is not micro so it must be full-size. Got it from Three.co.uk.
