I really like this guy who comes into my work but I don't even know his first name. I want to ask him out but all I know about him is where he works, lives , hobbies etc.Sounds really silly not knowing his name but I'm not afraid to ask him out just not sure how to go about

Totally agree with AlwaysConfused. Ask him what he is called then go for it.
Maybe wait until HE asks YOU your name, then you'll know the feeling is mutual.

Lol he knows mine as I work in a betting shop and he is a policeman I think it's Ian but I'm not 100% sure. Get disappointed when routine checks are his colleagues and not him how pathetic is that

Yes he is single I found that out months ago he came in with a young colleague an we were talking about buying flowers and I said to him do you buy your other half flowers andhis reply was don't have one.
