Neighbour Depositing Rubbish In Field

Have a field and neighbour depositing grass cuttings etc in here. Is there anything we can do to stop it pleade?

Yes. We have had problems with two neighbours. They mow their grass and put all the cuttings into our field directly behind their fence. This week one neighbour doing a patio and all the clods of turf taken up are now in our field.

Talk to them and ask them to stop it.

Have tried that in the past. They are people who dont care and do what they want

Throw it back over their fence.

A few people empty their grass cuttings in the field opposite us but I don't think it's classed as dumping rubbish, have a word with them

fly tipping try the council maybe? local environmental authorities , if it's your property and they refuse to listen talk to someone with authority

Do the same to them. Mow the field and put the clippings over the fence into their garden. Then when they complain say ''stop doing it to me and I will stop doing it to you''

Livestock can choke on grass clippings. Complain to police.

Have done but it keeps happening. Neighbours very determined and really really dont care

My bad, apparently dumping grass cuttings is illegal and classed as fly tipping.

I'd have a word with them or if that doesn't work put a few signs up saying they are being filmed

Can you threaten them with a private prosecution?

Tell them next time they do it you will give it back to them in the same manner they gave it to you.

If it is possible film them fly tipping and when they complain about you giving back their property show them the film
