Oh no, cancelled tonight for VE programmes. Now, while I think VE is a very important landmark in our history, I will be suffering withdrawal symptoms! Sad I know but Saturday night with a bowl of popcorn, coke and Casualty has become something of a ritual for me and my two youngest grandchildren.

Oh no, not again, if it's not sport or the eurovision song contest disrupting our favourite regular programmes, it's a "one-off" that couldn't possibly be fitted in anywhere else. The soaps are always the first to be cancelled.
I watched the concert, first time in many years that I've watched a programme on Saturday night that either didn't need subtitles or wasn't on the V box!
I always watch Casualty, but I didnt mind it not being on last night. The VE concert was live after all.
I love Casualty too but I agree with bjb...at least it wasn't taken off for football!
