Please can someone help with a few police procedural questions? I’m doing some research for a project and seem to be stuck finding exact answers to the questions below.

In regards to a situation where two people are killed in a traffic accident, one adult and one minor, where only the adult has identification on them at the time of the accident:

1. Does the immediate family member only have to formally identify the minor or both minor and adult?
2. Can this be done by photographs if the family member does not want to view the bodies?
3. If yes, can the photographs be brought to the family member’s home or do they still need to visit the local mortuary as if they were going to view the bodies?
4. If a visit does have to be made, can the police themselves collect the family member and drive them to the mortuary?

It's a grim project I grant you, but I've failed to get the above questions answered by other means and I don't want to contact my local police for fear of wasting their valuable time!
