Well his wee face was completely covered in fur and indeed all of him was so off he went to be groomed yesterday. His fur isn't great or thick - anyway we will start from scratch??? (he is scaldy looking) so when he grows again will give him back a bit of character in I will grow some hair/fur back onto his face and his tail.

Anyway I noticed under his belly he has maybe what I would call pigmentation that looks like large spots you know what it would look faded out dalmation spots. Anybody know what it could be - it's not nice looking at all. thanks for any replies

It's common in dogs.

right - thanks for that Ummmm - it doesn't look "clean".
Most older dogs get it, call them age spots if you like, and nowt you can do about 'em.
What colour is he?
Don't try scrubbing it off, JJ. As Ummmm says, it's natural. You'll get used to it.
Question Author
boo he is only 1 - oh no would never dream of scrubbing as his skin is sensitive - do know it his pigmentation.
Question Author
colour - white fur but nearer to skin blackish which sometimes appears to me sorta dirty looking.
I have a tortie cat that looks like she has a gammy eye because of her coloring. One eye looks like she's wearing white eyeliner and the other has a speck of ginger in the corner that looks like gunk! Poor little ugly thing :-)
