Last night I met the most amazing woman I've ever met, she's older than me by 10 years but we just clicked and it felt like we knew each other our whole lives.

She said to me that she can feel that this was going to be the start of something beautiful as she believes in destiny.

This was a powerful moment that resonated in my brain for quite a while which I've never experienced before.

Did you know from the beginning when you met your partner that you would be spending the rest of your lives together?

RATTER, who are you asking?

In our case it was more like knowing that we couldn't be apart. Destiny didn't come into it.
Ok, so these >> symbols mess around and delete text Grrrr!!
Woof, I wasnt asking, I was quoting, but the symbols I used as quotation marks deleted my text!!
So I will just answer the question. NO!
I do believe in soulmates but I think you become soulmates, it's rarely instant.

I've known my partner since primary school but we've only been together 8 years.
I discovered that too Ratter.

I find this easier for quotes.

Destiny...NO!.......I don't believe in it.

Soulmates?....what's that? before you tell me ...NO! I don't believe in whatever it is.

Broseph.....you have come to the right place in AB......full of romantics.
\\\\Last night I met the most amazing woman I've ever met,\\\

That happened to me every weekend between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.........they become "less amazing " as time goes on.
Lol, I knew sqad would add a bit of his 'magic' to this thread.
No I don't believe in soulmates.
It is amazing the number of people I have known who were with their soulmates.... right up to the moment they ran off with someone else.
After my first date with Mrs G, I knew she was the one for me, the second date to confirm my feelings, proposed on third date. 45 years married next time, and I still feel the same for her now as I did on that first date.
No Its not destiny or soul-mates,

Its called sexual attraction, or in other words, I wouldn't mind giving you one!!!
The first time I looked in the mirror I knew there'd never be another.

(possible own goal)
I can see why those who haven't experienced it don't believe in it.
I don't believe in either. I do find it difficult to imagine anyone better suited to me than the man hostage though... he may disagree however! ;-)
