New Bird Feeder

remember last year when i purchased a window mounted bird feeder, but it had no visitors all year - then was blown off by a very high wind in the autumn

i decided to try again, so i bought and mounted another one

i also purchased these - - Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation and stuck a couple of them inside the window so it looks like the feeder has visitors already

hopefully this will encourage real visitors

Just stick with it excel (sorry for pun), it took them about three months to find and get used to our window feeder - now twelve months on we can't keep them away. It's fascinating watching them.

I never understood why you didn't get any visitors excel:-( Birds have always come to my feeders so I'm wondering if it's something nearby they don't like. Hope you have better luck this time. Fill it up with premium grade sunflower hearts and pray:-))

Sunflower hearts are expensive, Excel, but well worth the money.

I buy sunflower hearts in bulk from ebay. It works out a lot cheaper. The goldfinches love them.
